Crafted in the traditional way, carefully finished to withstand any climate. This is not a Large Sundial. It measures just 20cm (7 3/4 inches) diameter.
The Base of the sundial and the shadow indicator are cast in yellow brass, therefore they will not rust.
The detail is prominent and polished.
The Gnomon.
- The shadow indicator (called a gnomon).
- It extends above the base 6.5 cm. .
- The shaft of the gnomon is 10 cm long.
The words and calibrations on the sundial are heavily embossed making them very easy to read.
