How It Works
Both the arrow and the cockatoo revolve freely on a ball bearing. This is on top of solid stainless steel shaft. The weathervane is powder-coated White
Installation
A stainless steel mounting plate is available for fixing to a flat surface such as the ridge line of a metal roof or a wooden garden post. Alternatively there is a steel gable bracket available for fixing to the apex of the gable (see Fixing Brackets).

Which one to use ?
Stainless Steel Gable Bracket is the bracket to use to attach the weathervane to the Gable face. It is used for both Tile and on Metal Roofs. Because the shaft has to extend down the face of the Gable, it is 200mm longer.
Stainless Steel Mounting Plate supplied flat with laser cut slots. The slots allow the plate to be bent to the exact pitch of the roof. The Stainless steel mounting plate (ridge bracket) is designed especially for the ridge line of metal roofs. However it is also adaptable to flat surfaces and mounting on posts.
