People on the Eastern Seaboard of Australia witness one of the longest whale migrations in the world. Around 20,000 Humpback Whales travel this route each year. They leave their summer feeding grounds in the antarctic and travel north. They have been feeding on plankton and fish and squid. The whales are driven by the unchallengeable force of nature, their destination is the winter breeding grounds. This journey is thousands of kilometres

Whales live in all the world’s oceans, communicating through complex and beautiful sounds. And they’re massive; the blue whale can weigh 200 tons, making it the largest animal on the planet. More about Plankton : https://worldoceanreview.com/en/wor-1/marine…/plankton-cycle/
