Helios was called the Sun God in the Greek religion . He drove a chariot across the sky going from East to West. The purpose being to bring the sun across the skies every day.
The Helios Polished Sun Dial is a larger than usual sun dial. Round in shape and quite impressive.
These flat sun dials are known as Horizontal Sundials.
Horizontal sundials are made of brass. Consequently they polish beautifully and will never rust.
The Roman Numerals and the depiction of the Fiery Sun is unmistakeable.
