Ridge Line Attaching Bracket is supplied as a flat stainless steel plate with instructions. It can be easily bent to fit the pitch of a metal roof. It is not suitable for tiled roofs.

Description

Ridge Line Attaching Bracket for Metal Roofs and Fences and Garden Posts.

The Bracket comes supplied as a flat stainless steel plate. Bending channels are laser cut into this stainless steel plate. Therefore, the plate is able to be bent to the exact pitch of the roof.

How to install.

  • Bending is simply a matter of bending the stainless steel plate over the sharp edge of a bench or table. Directions are included

Alternatively, you could use the jaws of a vice if one is available. Subsequently, producing a strong, stable and effective attachment.

  • The next step is to bolt the weathervane to the bracket (bolt supplied). Attachment of the bracket is by screwing, bolting or pop riveting (the choice is yours). Straight onto the metal roof.

As you attach the shaft to the bracket, make sure that the North directional is pointing North. The final, step is to make sure that you tighten this securely.

  • The final step is to lower the arrow and figure assembly over the stainless steel shaft. Well done !! The job is complete.

Using this method simplifies attachment of the weathervane to flat surfaces, wooden posts or metal posts and to the ridge line of a metal roofs.

Where to use.

  • The Ridge Line Attaching Bracket is suitable for attaching to the ridge line of metal roofs
  • It is not suitable for attaching the weathervane to a tiled roof.
  • It is not suitable for attaching to vertical surfaces.
