Cyclist Weathervane depicting a cyclist out for a ride. Cyclist and Bikers use a two wheeled bicycle (bike) to ride on roadways or cycling tracks. Biking or mountain biking use a much heavier, more rugged frame. Strong framed bikes are necessary because of the very rough mountain tracks.

Installation

A Stainless Steel Ridge Mounting plate is available and used for fixing to the ridge line of a metal roof. Also suitable for attaching to wooden garden post or to a flat surface.

Alternatively there is a Stainless Steel Gable Bracket available for fixing to the apex of the gable or to a flat vertical service. (see section – Fixing Brackets).

Which Attaching Bracket to use ?

The Gable Bracket is for attaching to the vertical face of the Gable. It is suitable for Tile and Metal Roofs.

Stainless Steel Ridge Mounting Plate is flat. There are bending slots cut into the plate. As a result these slots allow the ridge mounting plate to be bent to fit the ridge line of the roof. The stainless steel ridge mounting plate can also be used to attach the weathervane to flat surfaces and vertical posts.
