Ridge Line Bracket for Metal Roofs and Fences and Garden Posts.
The Bracket comes supplied as a flat stainless steel plate. Thin bending channels have been laser cut into this stainless steel plate therefore it is able to be bent to the exact pitch of the roof. Bending is simply a matter of bending the stainless steel plate over the sharp edge of a bench or table. Alternatively, you could use the jaws of a vice if one is available. This creates an attachment which is strong, stable and effective.
Now bolt the weathervane to the bracket (bolt supplied). Attachment of the bracket is by screwing, bolting or pop riveting (the choice is yours). Straight onto the metal roof.
When attaching the shaft and the directionals to the bracket make sure that the North directional is pointing North. Above all, it is important to make sure that you tighten this securely.
The final step is to lower the arrow and figure assembly over the stainless steel shaft. Well done !! The job is complete.
Using this method simplifies attachment of the weathervane to flat surfaces, wooden posts or metal posts and to the ridge line of a metal roofs.
The Ridge Line bracket is not suitable for attaching the weathervane to a tiled roof.
