How It Works

Both the arrow and the Kiwi figure revolve on a ball bearing over a solid Stainless Steel shaft.

The weathervane has been powder-coated so that the it doesn’t reflect the sun. Subsequently this makes its features stand out.

Just like the early Ford motor vehicles, you can have any colour so long as it is black.

Installation

A stainless steel mounting plate is available for fixing to a flat surface such as the ridge line of a metal roof or a wooden garden post.
A stainless steel gable bracket available for fixing to the apex of the gable (see Fixing Brackets).

Which one to use ?

Gable Bracket made of stainless steel for attaching to the face of the Gable. Suitable for both Tile and Metal Roofs.
Because the shaft extends down the face of the Gable, it is 500mm long where as the the ridge line bracket is only 300mm.
Stainless Steel Mounting Plate supplied flat with laser cut slots. The slots allow plate to be bent to the exact pitch of the roof.
Used on the roof ridge line of metal roofs. Also used for flat surfaces and to mount on posts.
