6 foot windsocks are made of a lightweight Ripstop highly stable sailcloth material which is chemical and UV resistant.

Orange - Used in snow areas and sometimes on road construction sites.

Pink - Used on grassland and forest areas , where White or Yellow blossoms are possible and would therefore make a Yellow or white Windsock hard to distinguish from above.

White - White is a very visible colour and has the least problem with fade.

Yellow - Yellow can normally be seen the greatest distance, and tends to attract more than White. Yellow is easier to see against a background of sky, or as seen from the ground and can normally be seen from the greatest distance.
