How the Dressage Weathervane Works
The arrow, the horse and rider figure revolve on a ball bearing. This ball bearing rotates over a solid stainless steel shaft. Well balanced and proportionally correct these Australian made weathervanes from Glenview Products actually work. All Aussie weathervane are powder coated Black consequently they stand out against the sky.
A stainless steel mounting plate is available for fixing to a flat surface such as the ridge line of a metal roof or a wooden garden post. Alternatively there is a steel gable bracket available for fixing to the apex of the gable (see Fixing Brackets). Which one to use ?
Stainless Steel Gable Bracket. The Gable Bracket is suitable for Tile and Metal Roofs.
A Stainless Steel Mounting Plate, flat with laser cut slots. This results in the plate being easy to bend to the exact pitch of the roof. Used on the ridge line of metal roofs. For flat surfaces this is the recommended fixing. They are very suitable for fixing to posts. Purchasing the suitable bracket makes installation easy and enjoyable
